Features: This exquisite Edwardian era wrapper features a white wisteria floral print on a bright red background. The fabric has an intentionally crinkled texture and I believe that it's cotton. The square shape of the sleeves and wisteria print are very reminiscent of a Japanese kimono design. Interestingly, hidden under the sleeves are white cotton fitted short sleeves with lace trim. This piece can be worn open like a robe or closed like a dress. It has little hooks and eye closures that run up the entire front.
Condition: The main body of the garment and most of the trim is in flawless, clean condition however there is one issue to note. The silk is starting to split vertically around the edge of the neck and very tops of the shoulders. It's backed by the other fabric which has stabilized it and it's not loose or noticeable unless inspected closely. See pictures for details.
