This lovely brass necklace shows an ornate scene of a tree with fledglings in a nest in the top branches. It's surrounded by twisting branches, vines and grape leaves with the parent bids picking grapes that hang from the vines. I estimate that this was made between the 1900's and the 1920's. It has a wonderful, detailed clasp at the back of the neck that's worth noting, it's two hands clasped together.
I've cleaned the necklace, it's in excellent condition with a subtle patina to the brass. The pendant measures 4.5 x 3.5 inches and the chain is 12 inches total.
